Family potluck

My cousin works out of state. She was in town this weekend and decided to hold a potluck. My mom told me to keep the day free about 2 months ago. Next I heard was earlier this week when she called to ask if I was going. So I called this morning and found out it was at 1. So I made sloppy joes. Get to my grandparents, they've now been told it's at 2. We waited until almost 3 before everyone arrived. Other than my grandmother, I was the only one who cooked. Bailed at 4.

Even I organize better.
