I know several teachers. One works with Junior High students, and may be the one most likely to discuss this kind of thing right now. You may know her - Corinne? You know other people that know her, at least.
Another friend teaches high school math, but she just had a really horrible year, and may not be the best person to bounce ideas off of. I can check in with her if you are interested in talking to her, though.
The other is Elizabeth, who teaches the first couple of English courses at Bellevue College. The problem there is that she just fucked her hand up pretty badly and isn't able to communicate on line very well.
With any of these folks, I'd be happy to try to plan dinner so that you can meet them in person and chat about things, if you'd like. I could try to get more than one of them together at once, if that would be better.
