I have a general rule of thumb: the person who cancels on something with me is the person whose responsibility it is to reschedule. If I have something come up that requires me to cancel on lunch with a friend, it's on me to propose a new date or time. If someone cancels on me, I'm not going to chase them down for a new date.

This update brought to you buy two people canceling on me earlier this week, and one last week. I'm disappointed they didn't reschedule, but I have to take that as a possible sign they aren't interested in spending time with me. I will not be the douchebro who can't take hints.

Sunday at 1 p.m. -ish (could be a bit later…) Jason and I will be having our birthday Loser's Lunch at Mae's. You know you wanna. Cause really, who can't do with more bad relationship advice and tall tales? And you can't get worse relationship advice than advice from Jason and I.

Also, for those so inclined, I do have a pool at my place.

If you want alcohol, bring some. I have a 6 pack of Mike's and a 6 pack of Shiner Hefeweizen.

So since I became sexually active around the age of 18, I've had numerous dry stretches. Two that lasted around 3½ years. That's one of the things that's changed since Matt died. I came out of my shell and became more willing to talk to people, and that's resulted in more dating and more nookie.

However, I did not get laid last month. I totally forgot.

Jason says I'm not posting enough about dating. Since he wasn't specific, anyone got any stories about dating I can post?

Actually, I should get working on the dating thing. I have deadline. I R.S.V.P.ed to Megan & Tom's wedding with and guest so I have to find a date by the 23rd of September.
