No matter what, you get screwed

Deirdre's second paintball event was today. I wanted to go. I wanted to go so much I fronted the money for a group of 20. Then our release date go pushed back 2 weeks. So that meant we updated our site starting at about 10 p.m. last night. One group of devs went in to support it around midnight. The second group (me included) came in around 8 a.m. So that meant I had to forego paintball.

Except this has been one of the smoothest releases we've had. Turns out I wasn't needed at all. No problems even remotely connected to my areas. No major problems at all.

Now, if I had just skipped on this and played paintball, everything here would have gone to hell in a hand-basket.

Gonna take off at 1 p.m., go home and take a catnap. I will be out tonight and I will be having much fun.
