3-2-1 Contact

I wish more people made a genuine effort to stay in contact with me. With some folks, it seems like I am forever the one chasing them down.

I could probably improve my own reponses though. Sometimes I wait a while before returning calls, cause talking to people scares me.

I'm thinking about this for a couple of reasons. One of them is that this community for youth mentorship thing emphasizes being relentlessly committed to these kids, whether they respond or not. Only one person has been that way for me: Jason. At least over the long term he's the only one. One of the reasons why I love him.

As part of this mentorship thing, I might start making more of an effort to chase down people I care about.
