After we saw it Erik and I both wished we could've seen what Rian Johnson would've done.

In the original trilogy, anyone could use the Force if they trained enough. Then we go midi-fucking-chlorians. Then Rian Johnson turned it back toward anyone. Then J.J. Abrams went and made it hereditary elite who could use it.

Fuck J.J. Abrams. Not really impressed with George Lucas either.
