I'm not sure how wingnut
became the term to describe right wing punditry that is just so out there as to be crazy, but my hat is off to the person who condensed right wing nut
down. It's a damn fine term. What's so sad is how much of the right wing punditry is wingnuttery. I long for the days when William F. Buckley was the voice of the right wing. And as often as I disagreed with William Safire, he was no Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Joe Scarborough, Ann Coulter, Michael Savage, or any of the other myriad right wing pundits that dominate these days. Why has the right wing given up on erudite commentary?
