I will be attempting a lemon meringue mahrayng pie tomorrow. Probably be the first pie I make since it will need to set and chill. Never made one before. As you can tell because I've probably mispelled the word.

"Meringue" is the word I lost the Alaska State Spelling Bee on when I was in sixth grade. (I spelled it with an "a".) And then the other guy got the ridiculously easy "glaciology."

I'm bringing over two savory pies - pork, onion, and potato (no dairy), which is already made, and a vegetarian corn and sweet pepper pie (no meat. tons of dairy).

I can eat sugar, but I like to have nonsugary things to eat as well to balance it out. I've started bringing savory pies to the last couple pie nights as an answer to this.

I don't know about sugar free sweet pies, however.

I'd say I'm doing the ol' standard pumpkin, but then again my pumpkin pies are significantly spicier than the ol' standard ones. One must like cloves and ginger to enjoy. See you in the late afternoon - early evening!
