Snowboarding

I'm thinking of learning to snowboard. Crystal Mountain has a 4 hour beginner class on Saturdays for $49, all equipment included. And a bus up there and back for $25. So, tentative plan is to go on either January 10th, or 17th. Right now, I go by myself. Unless someone wants to go up with me.

I would love to join you! as soon as I find out my schedule (I am in the midst of changing stores) I can say yes or no for sure, but please keep me in mind. I have always wanted to learn, but have never been.

When do you find out your schedule? I'm not exactly tied to a particular date. If there's a chance of making a fool of myself with someone else, I'll gladly pick a date to suit.

doubt i'll do the class thing with ya, but i have one voucher for a free lift ticket to Crystal, if that's where you're going to go.
guess i should dig my snowboarding gear out of storage and get my board waxed. heh.

Well, you wouldn't have to do the class thing. But I would require you at least go down the bunny slope with me a time or two.

This is part of my to do list in January. I had several interested in going skiing (not necissarily snow boarding)when I posted in November. I may still plan a beginner's ski trip to snoqualmi, as well, as I promised to do last fall. Want to ski too?

Yep. Crystal has the same deal for learning skiing as well I believe.

Wow, this sounds like a great deal, and I've been wanting to take some snowboarding classes. I may be up for this if I can snag some snowboard pants for relatively cheap.

DAMN - that is dirt cheap man. I took a friend up this past weekend to Snoqualmie and it was like $60 for lesson (1 hour private & beginner run lift ticket) and $25 for equipment for ONE day.

I'd say you found yourself a kick ass deal.

i wanna go too! unfortunately, i cannot attend until after january (as i am in crazy crunch work mode).
