Two heroes fall? I really hope this means we've seen the last of Niki. Kinda pissed that we lose Nathan too. I've always liked him better than Peter.

What is it with West, where he is such a flip-flopper?

Why didn't Peter just walk through the wall? He was close enough to D.L. to get his power.

They still haven't revealed whether the company is truly bad any more. I like that. I also like that it appears H.R.G. is back to his malevolent ways. He's still the best character around. Not that his deal really makes a lot of sense.

I was hoping they would explain why Linderman kept Adam locked up when he was running the company and their interests meshed.

For such a vast company, they don't have very many operatives.

And in volume three, they really need to reveal the powers of Mama Petrelli and the other original folks.

Maybe more if I can think of it later.

This is true. There really was no reason for him to spend all that time breaking open the door. He could have walked through without Adam, destroyed the virus, and never had to worry about trusting him.

Once Peter was told that he had NUKE as a power, he displayed more fine control of it than Ted ever did after months of practice in controlling it.

So, while fun, the finale had more holes than swiss cheese.

Or just look at how the lock worked from the inside, and unlocked it with telekinesis. He was close enough to Sylar to inherit HIS original ability, the ability to look inside and see how something worked. So lock picking, or safe cracking, should be easy.

But I agree with you, just walking into the vault and destroying the virus on his own made MUCH more sense.

Of course, when they were at Victoria's place and Adam was saying one thing and Victoria was saying another, WHY DIDN'T HE JUST READ THEIR MINDS TO FIND OUT WHO WAS TELLING THE TRUTH?? Then we wouldn't have had to go do Odessa at all.

Also, Hiro, the guy who doesn't like violence, the guy who wants to talk about everything, the guy who can STOP TIME, can't take 30 seconds to say, "Peter, you just said you are going to stop the release of the virus and that my father locked Adam up. I went back in time 30 years, and I was there when my father locked Adam up. He locked him up because Adam tried to release the virus. Here, LET ME SHOW YOU."

No, he's gonna run at Peter with a fucking sword. Give me a break.

As long as Maya's power is "area of effect" with no ability to focus or distinguish friend from foe, it is the most useless power ever and she needs to go away. So does Elle. Forever.

Despite the glaring holes in this episode, I have some rationalization for two of your points.

Why not read their minds? Despite showing that he could pick up fine control of nuclear abilities in a heartbeat, maybe his mind reading bit took him off guard enough that he forgot to try it on Adam once he had pulled the Odessa location from her head (the first use of that power since his amnesia, if I remembe correctly).

As for Hiro, Peter tends to innately counter Hiro's time powers with his own time powers. If Peter is immune to Time Stop, he may very well be immune to forced Time Jump. Given the stakes, the risk of Time Jumping away and not bringing Peter, thus leaving Peter and Adam alone in the Prima Tech factory, seems like a Bad Idea (tm).

Besides, Hiro is evolving into Bad Ass Hiro from the future :) I am enjoying watching his evolution from sweet innocent nerd to Bad Ass.

Nope, it wasn't the first use. First use of that power since his amnesia was back in Ireland, when he picked up that the member of the gang was intending on betraying the leader. He told the leader, leader didn't believe him, then it turns out that Peter was right.

And when he did it with Victoria, he was doing it deliberately, as evidenced by the scrunched "I'm taking a difficult dump" face that both he and Parkman make when they are reading minds. So, he knew he could read minds, did it to get the location, but, inexplicably, didn't do it to determine who was lying.

Secondly, even if Peter were "immune" to a forced time jump, that still doesn't explain why Hiro just didn't TALK to Peter. Right there. Time is stopped. Nothing bad is going to happen "in the meantime." So just stand there and tell Peter the whole story, of Japan, Kensei, coming back, finding the files in his dad's office, going back in time and seeing Adam trying to release the virus, and that being why his dad locked Adam up, going back in time and seeing Adam kill his father, the whole thing. Although Peter seems to be suffering from Mohinder's superpower of Overwhelming Obtuseness/Gullibility, eventually, even he would have had to notice how Hiro's story was matching up with the things other people said.

12 originals....Matt Parkman points to the picture and says, "Everyone in this picture is dead, except for you (Mama Petrelli), Bob, my dad, and this woman." Um, that means that there were FOUR OTHER PEOPLE in that picture that were part of the original 12 that we have never even heard of, but are apparently dead. That's really annoying. (The four are the two women standing on the far left, back and front row, and the two men seated in the front row on the right.)

Who's HRG?

Mama Petrelli's power appears to be the ability to make people do what she wants — but only if she's touching them. She was touching Nathan's wife a week ago or so, in the hospital.

I don't think that is her power, as there was no force or anything else behind it. She was simply telling his wife what she wanted to hear. Much easier to believe an explanation of "mental illness in the family" than "my husband has superpowers.

If Mama Petrelli could MAKE people do what she wants just by touching them, she would have done it with Claire last season, as well as Peter and lord knows who else.
