Vacation

I am on vacation next week. Have no plans to travel. Never found anyone who could afford to go anywhere and who had time with whom I could arrange anything. But I need a vacation before I get burnt enough to get fired. Originally, I planned on having a Do Nothing weekend next weekend, but my grandparents will be using the cabin, so that's off. I may still go out there and help him paint, as he's none to firm anymore.

So what am I gonna do? I dunno. Maybe I'll take an overnight trip or something. Might head to Moscow to sign the paperwork to sell my house. That might be done by mail though. Probably I'll get a lot of reading done.

Current pencilled in plans are: Friday, club, as always. Saturday: hiking? Sunday: hang with friends. Sometime next week: coffee or food with Kim.

I say you take a couple days to go to the coast. There is a neat little hotel that has all suites - its low-key, though. It is about 30 minutes from Rialto Beach and First Beach (which includes a walk from the tree line down to the water), and about ummm...an hour from the rain forest.
Cook for yourself in the little kitchenette, watch cable, then during the day go hang out on the beach or at the rain forest and read, or go for walks.

I got the week and I got the cash and I got the travel connections. You got any destination ideas? I've kind of wanted to go to DC or to New England. Never been to Alaska or Hawaii either. If ya aren't too afraid of hurricanes, there's Bermuda or the Caymans or someplace else in the Caribbean. You name the place and I could probably put something together.
