I am on vacation this week. Doesn't look like I am going anywhere. However, in order to make it as vacation like as possible, I plan to eat much restaurant food. Speak to me of good restaurants I should go to for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I know many myself, but I am thinking I should try as much as possible to break my comfort zone. I generally stick to places I know have good food, rather than just wander in to places blindly.

Also, those who wish to join me should pipe up. I plan to head out for lunch in a half hour or so for my first installment. Downtown preferred for today, as I wish to go by the library.

You should venture to Fremont one of these days, and we'll do us some lunching.

I'm the breakfast whore, let's do breakfast sometime this week?

Options:
Cafe Flora on Madison (vegan + cute-as-Hell server that maybe I have a tiny crush on)
Old Pancake House on 15th - mmm, Dutch Babies
Cyndy's Pancake House (truly fabulously gritty kind of place that my grandparents would've approved of) - I think this is on Aurora, but I get Aurora and 15th confused sometimes
The Dish in Fremont

And unrelated: I went to the Lavender Festival over the weekend with Miss Renee and she said she'd left you message but hadn't heard back - did the message come through OK?

Tomorrow, check. Sounds great. What time? I can walk to the Dish and easily bus to Glo's, but may have trouble getting to the other places unless you want to pick my ass up in Fremont or downtown ;> I could also probably ride my bike over to your place if that's convenient.

Cafe Flora is a bit expensive but very much worth it, imnsho.

My ass is out of shape enough that getting back up Madison would involve me pushing my bike while I walk. I can bike over to your place and then maybe we take the bus from there?

Heya - I just got back to my place from my Adventures spanning yesterday and today (good gods, I have stories to tell).

Cafe Flora has brunch Saturday and Sunday only. Have you been to Le Fournil on East Lake yet? I'll try ringing your home line in a few and see if I can catch ya ...

The Kingfish Cafe. It's right around the corner from my house!

Dragonfish was excellent the time I went.

Kells is one of my personal favorites, though. If you haven't been, I'd higly suggest it. Get the Irish cheese plate for a starter.

I recently had a great breakfast at a place called The Five Spot on Queen Anne Hill.

Try the "square special" omelet at Larry's in Pioneer Square. And their biscuits are the best.
